I made an application starter for Facebook Applications made with Cold Fusion MX. Including the direct hits to my neglected development blog, and the hit counter on RIAForge, the starter application has been downloaded about 1500 times. You can download it, too.

For creating such things, you get mentions all over the place... including the facebook developer wiki, riaforge, and of course the ususal development forums in the `tubes.

I suppose that's news worthy!
